The G and the J

Finding Grace and Joy in life no matter where your journey’s destination, might be just as profound a statement, as it is a pursuit.  I know things would all work out just fine if it could be my goals, my plans to reach them doing it the way I think it should be done; and of course, measured the way I think it should be measured.  But the kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds; and, so many times we are put in the smallest of places and we want larger places and larger things!  The mustard seed grows so slowly and we need high-speed responses because there is so little time and time is precious!  The mustard seed grows into the largest in the garden and is able to care for all the needs of others.  Others? The prayer reads: “Lord, I don’t know what this day will bring.  I accept it as your gift to me and I ask you to help me live it as well as I can with the confidence that you will see me through all that happens.  “The kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field – Matt 13: 44                                                                           Albert E. Wrote, “A problem can never be solved on the same level of thinking that identified it.”  Maybe, Grace and Joy are always best found and understood in parables?  Ain’t it so!
